Doctoral Symposium (Online)

The Doctoral Symposium is a platform for doctoral scholars to provide an opportunity to showcase their thesis work, interact with experts in the field about their thesis work and receive constructive feedback in a friendly atmosphere. The Symposium welcomes both advanced and early stage PhD students with an identified research topic related to the scope of CINE-2022 conference. Scholars will obtain useful guidance that will help them complete their research, prepare their thesis, and begin a research career. PhD advisors are hereby requested to nominate their PhD students who are close to graduation to submit abstracts to this doctoral symposium.

Besides the main event, we are also organizing the Doctoral Symposium as a sister event to promote research temperament among young scholars and researchers (M.Tech/M.Sc/PhD/MS).

Research Areas (not limited to):

  • Applied Soft Computing

  • Machine Learning

  • Deep Learning

  • Computer Vision

  • NLP

  • IoT

  • Networking

  • Blockchain Technology

The main objectives of the Doctoral Symposium are:

  • To allow PhD students to understand technical writing and communication of their research;

  • To receive constructive feedback from the Program Committee, Eminent Speakers, and other participants;

  • To create opportunities to form research collaborations and interact with other researchers about their ideas on different topics.

All doctoral papers are reviewed using a single-blind review process: scholars declare their names and affiliations in the paper for the reviewers to see, but reviewers do not know each other's identities, nor do the scholars receive information about who has reviewed their paper.

The Doctoral Symposium will be an "oral session" during the main conference. Note that scholars should present their original work only. It is the scholar's responsibility to make sure that the paper conforms to the conference requirements.

There are some more additional requirements that scholars have to follow:

  • Papers have to be written in English language only.

  • A two-column format in the IEEE style is required for final submissions and recommended for submissions.

  • The number of pages should not exceed 2 pages.

  • The PDF document should not have any password protection.

  • Submission should be made in PDF only through the CMT (Track: Doctoral Symposium) link.

  • Compare the research outcomes with current literature and approaches

Registration Fee includes (for participants of Doctoral Symposium):

  • Free pass to online attends Pre-Conference Workshop/Unconference.

  • Allow to online attend all sessions of Keynote speeches and Doctoral Symposium.
